Identidad was a turning point for Curujey, since it is the last
album of a trilogy produced for the japanese market. It is the final
result of a beautiful blend that makes World Music what it is in real
life : the musical results of different artists living in different
parts of the world who get together in a given territory and produce
music with their cultural diversities. Identidad was the combination of
mutual understanding and compromises.
Although only one track is a composition, Pedro Rivero's extraordinary
arrangments revisit tracks like How
Deep is your Love, and Mais
que Nada, and brings them a refreshing breeze .
